Personal Gnosis: Me & The Moon

where do i even start? the moon is a pivotal piece of werewolf lore. as the legend goes, when the moon is full & the veil between worlds is at its thinnest, human beings turn to beasts. for me, it's a large wolf with semi-opposable thumbs that can stand upright (for a short time) but is mostly quadrupedal. but not every "were" is a wolf!

zoanthropy can be linked to any creature, even multiple at one time. in my blog, i discussed feeling almost hyaenid at times. but since we're on the topic of personal experience, i'll solely be referring to myself as a werewolf. as a child, i was obsessed with the moon & the night sky. part of this was due to my hyperfixation on the warrior cats series, and i'd be lying if i said parts of my beliefs weren't somewhat influenced by the idea of dead ancestors living in the stars (see also: the lion king)
